"I intend to create moments with my 8-year-old Lemtifat, who is already excited about this collaboration, by the way. Since she loves to draw, it will basically be her artistic representation of me. For example, she has drawn some hand sketches of me in the past on Mother’s Day, my birthdays, or when she wants to say thank you for something I have done. There will also be some letters she has written to me and some questions she has asked that make me reflect on the girl I was and the woman I am becoming. I will include some video sessions showing what our typical day looks like. In a poetic manner, I will show how growing up without a mother, and now having to be a mother myself, has shaped my journey from girlhood to a womanhood of learning on the job."
